Bio:
Jeffrey E. Appel, Esquire attended the University of Florida where he received his Bachelor of Arts in 1989, and his Master on Sociology and his law degree in 1993. Jeff's first job was with Holland & Knight, LLP, where he practiced in the litigation department. He left H&K., LLP to become a founding member of Harbsmeier, DeZayas & Appel, LLP. As a partner with the firm, Jeff continued to concentrate his practice in trial work and also devoted time to family law matters and business litigation. Jeff's client base grew statewide and he started the firm's second office, located in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. As of January 1, 2006, Jeffrey opened the Law Offices of Jeffrey E. Appel PA (now The Appel Law Group). Jeff continues to practice family law, workers' compensation and business litigation. Outside of work, Jeff can be found fishing and enjoying outdoor activities.
Bio:
Mark N. O'Grady, Esquire attended the University of Florida, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in 2001, and was a member of the Florida Blue Key leadership honorary. He received his law degree from the Stetson University College of Law in 2004. During law school, Mark worked as a certified legal intern in the Sixth Circuit Office of the Public Defender. After graduation, he began working as an assistant public defender as a trial attorney in the Tenth Circuit Office of the Public Defender. In February of 2007, Mark joined the Appel Law Group, where he continues to practice in the area of workers compensation as well as family law and business litigation.

R. Charles Lee, Esquire attended the University of Central Florida where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in 2002. Upon graduating, Charlie moved to Birmingham, Alabama to attend Cumberland School of Law at Samford University, where he received his law degree in 2004. During law school, Charlie interned with Pittman, Hooks, Kirby, Dutton & Hellums, P.A., a personal injury and consumer protection firm, as well as Masey, Stotser & Nichols, P.A., a general practice firm. After passing the Florida Bar, Charlie served as a trial prosecutor for the Office of the State Attorney for the Tenth Judicial Circuit. Upon leaving the State Attorney’s Office, he practiced law in the areas of mortgage foreclosures, collections, family law and criminal defense. Charlie joined the Appel Law Group in September of 2008.
